French Olympian Terry Bouhraoua Takes Charge of Mexico 7’s

French Olympian Terry Bouhraoua is the new Sporting Director of Mexico Rugby Sevens. The 35-year-old arrives in Mexico with a wealth of experience to his name.

A native of Châteaudun, France, Bouhraoua started his professional career for Top 14 side Stade Français in 2005. He also played for Béziers. He was France’s first player on a central contract to play Rugby Sevens for his country.

Bouhraoua is one of France’s all-time leading players in Rugby Sevens. He played for the French national 7’s team for eleven years and is France’s highest scorer on the World Sevens Circuit.

Bouhraoua competed at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was the leading point scorer at the tournament with 43 points. He was also the top try scorer at the 2015 Dubai Sevens and the 2016 Cape Town Sevens tournaments.
