Canada change two for Langford

John Tait has made two changes to his team ahead of the next round of the HSBC Women’s Sevens Series. This will be the second year that Langford has hosted an event. In the inaugural tournament 12 months ago Canada finished runners up in the Plate final, but coming off a Cup semi-final performance in Atlanta they will look for glory on their home turf.

Emma Jada drops out with injury, replaced by Sarnia’s Julia Greenshields, back in the lineup for the first time since the season opener in Dubai. Jada’s Guelph teammate Britt Benn comes the other way, recovering from a knock that kept her out of Atlanta to take Sara Kaljuvee’s spot on the roster.

Others missing out Caroline Crossley, Arielle Duboissette-Borrice, and Emily Belchos, all of whom appeared at the Dubai tournament in December. Jada joins an injured list that also includes veterans Elissa Alarie, Magali Harvey, Ashley Steacy, and Natasha Watcham-Roy.

The tournament kicks off on Saturday, April 16. All matches will be streamed live by World Rugby.
