Kyle Stewart to play second season with Old Glory

Kyle Stewart will play a second Major League Rugby season with Old Glory DC. The 25-year-old New Zealander spent recent months playing with Taranaki in the National Provincial Championship.

In his first campaign with the club Stewart featured in all 16 games including 14 starts. Most of those came at his favored tighthead prop position, though he also started three times at loosehead.

Stewart is the second senior prop confirmed as returning for DC along with first choice loosehead Jack Iscaro. Quentin Newcomer has been acquired from New England, while Cali Martinez and Alex Balladares were selected in this year’s Collegiate Draft.
