Mitch Wilson signs two-year Free Jacks extension

Mitch Wilson has signed a two-year contract extension with the Free Jacks that keeps him in Boston through at least the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 26-year-old has been with the club since their inaugural MLR campaign in 2020.

This past season saw the versatile back settle in on the right wing for New England. Wilson played 15 games and scored 7 tries, while also providing an accurate goal kicking option when called upon.

Wilson’s form earned a call-up to the Eagles squad for the July internationals, having previously played for the USA Selects. He started on the wing against the French Barbarbians but did not appear in the matches against Chile and is yet to make his full test debut.
