There were plenty of performances meeting highlights by Argentines this weekend. Standout performances came from both established test players and uncapped players. In addition, there were reputable matches from players currently in the test team and players who missed out on caps in 2021.

Julián Domínguez made the move from NOLA Gold to the Austin Gilgronis. He took little time to convert his form for the Louisiana MLR side to that of the Texan capital city. He scored the first try of the season for the Gilgronis who were convincing winners over rookie team the Dallas Jackals on Saturday.

Another player shining was Joaquín de la Vega Mendía. He had a sublime debut performance for Rugby ATL against Old Glory DC in Major League Rugby (MLR). The former Argentine u20’s player scored 25 points on his MLR debut. He scored a try and kicked 20 points. His first kick gave him the first points of the 2022 MLR season.
