NOLA Gold have confirmed two preseason games to be played at their home venue, The Gold Mine. The Houston SaberCats will visit first on Saturday, January 22, with Rugby ATL arriving a week later on Saturday, January 29.
It’s the only preseason game confirmed for ATL to date, but the second game booked by Houston on January 22. The club will retain a senior squad for their home game against the Dallas Jackals, and will send a younger mix of contracted players and Rugby HTX academy members to New Orleans.
There are now nine preseason games confirmed involving Major League Rugby sides. The Utah Warriors and Rugby New York are the only teams yet to announce any warmup fixtures. An updated preseason schedule can be seen here.
