Rugby ATL have re-signed versatile forward Daemon Torres and prop Will Burke for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The club have also confirmed the return of prop Jonas Petrakopoulos for the second year of his contract signed in August of 2020.
Torres, who recently celebrated his 25th birthday, appeared in 6 matches during his first season as a professional after joining from Life University. He had two starts, one each at blindside flanker and No8, while also filling in at lock when required.
Both Burke and Petrakopoulos headed south after spending the 2020 season with New York. Burke, 25, featured in 7 matches including the Championship Final. He is primarily a tighthead prop. Petrakopoulos, 23, plays both sides of the scrum and played in 11 matches including 2 starts this past season.
