Rugby ATL relocate to Silverbacks Park for 2022

Rugby ATL have made their move to Silverbacks Park official. Their previous home of Lupo Family Field on the Life University campus recently suffered extensive damage due to flooding in the area and reconstruction is not expected to be completed until the spring.

The stadium at Silverbacks Park was opened in 2006 as the home of the now-defunct Atlanta Silverbacks soccer team. Located at the north-east end of the Atlanta metropolitan area, the stadium features a 5,000 seat capacity with a FieldTurf surface.

Other teams that have used the field are the Atlanta Renegades, a local rugby club, and the Atlanta Rhinos, a rugby league side. Despite the change the Ratlers will continue to use its home venue nickname of ‘The Snake Pit’ at the new venue.
