Final Women’s Rosters for Dubai Sevens Round 2

The World Sevens Series continues on Friday (local time) and while it’s a new tournament, the venue will stay the same. Dubai plays host once again with fans now permitted to attend following the lifting of pandemic restrictions.

Only four players have changed from this past weekend’s event. Australian flyer Jakiya Whitfield is recalled for her second event with Tean Levi dropping out, and France have replaced Carla Neisen with the world class Camille Grassineau.

Brazil are celebrating their best ever performance on the circuit and have veteran Claudia Teles available with Mariana Nicolau dropping out. There is one change for the Eagles with Cheta Emba replaced by Rachel Strasdas, who is the only player in the tournament making her Series debut.

The tournament begins on Thursday at midnight Eastern time (9pm Pacific). Live broadcasts will be available on the CBC Sports website in Canada, Peacock TV in the USA, ESPN in South America, and on the World Rugby website for those located abroad.

A full fixture list can be seen here.
