The new US Eagles jerseys for the 2015 Rugby World Cup have been unveiled. Apparel designers BLK have released a navy blue home shirt and a striped white alternate for the upcoming tournament that kicks off on September 19. The opening match for the Eagles is two days later, against Samoa in Brighton, England.
As is custom at the World Cup, there are no sponsor logos on kits at the tournament, with kit designers and tournament sponsors the only advertisements permitted on the field.
BLK and USA Rugby announced a three-year partnership that began in July of 2014. The Australian company will also provide jerseys for Fiji, Romania, and Samoa in the World Cup. Other teams that wear their kit include Guinness Pro 12 side Ospreys, famed Top 14 club Toulouse, and four Super Rugby franchises – the Force, Rebels, Reds, and the Sharks.
BLK will also provide jerseys for both American teams at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
