Sebastián Poet will be remaining in France and in the Pro D2. He has signed to play for Bourg en Bresse from Colomiers. Bourg en Bresse were recently promoted to the Pro D2. Poet is the club’s second recruitment from the Americas in a matter of days. Canadian Matt Beukeboom is joining the team from Montauban.
The 28-year-old Poet has been playing professional rugby in France for a lengthily period. He departed his home club of Atlético del Rosario in 2014 to play for Tarbes. After two seasons playing Pro D2 rugby for Tarbes he joined Charente on a one-year-deal in 2016. Then in 2017 he moved to Colomiers. Now after four years playing for Colomiers, Poet will continue his career with Bourg en Bresse.
Poet is an accomplished player. Despite being uncapped he has been in consideration for representative honors. He was on the radar for Los Jaguares but opted to remain in France.
