Segundo Tuculet will continue his career in the Pro D2. The 27-year-old has signed for Montauban from his current club Valence Romans. The move comes days after Valence Romans were relegated from the Pro D2 for finishing the regular season second from bottom.
Tuculet had signed for Valence Romans on a two-year-deal. It covered the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 seasons. However, with the club relegated, he will transfer to Montauban. He and Puma Lucas Mensa were regulars for Valence Romans in the 2020-2021 season.
The former Los Pumas 7’s player moved to Europe in 2017. He did so after having been a fringe player in his home country and playing for the Argentina XV. He played one match of Super Rugby for Los Jaguares, though with Matías Orlando and Matías Moroni both in the mix chances were slim to none of him playing as regularly as his brother, Joaquín Tuculet.
Since departing Argentina, Segundo Tuculet has played in France, England and Italy. He has done so for Narbonne and Valence Romans (Pro D2), Ealing Trailfinders (RFU Championship) and Medicei (Top 12).
