A record 11 North American internationals have been named to play in Saturday’s Premier 15s contest between league-leaders Saracens and visiting Exeter at Copthall Stadium. The Chiefs are in fifth spot but are the hottest team in the competition with seven straight victories dating back to December.
Kate Zackary will make a shock move to the midfield for Exeter where she forms an all-Eagles partnership with Gabby Cantorna. Rachel Johnson continues in the No7 shirt, with Joanna Kitlinski on the bench. Canadian trio Olivia DeMerchant, Emily Tuttosi, and McKinley Hunt retain their spot in the tight five.
Saracens will start Sophie de Goede at her preferred No8 position with two Maritimers named in the run-on side. Emma Taylor is Hunt’s opposite at No5 with Alysha Corrigan to face off against Zackary in the No13 shirt. Mackenzie Carson continues as backup hooker having returned from injury last week.
