Austin are setting new standards on and off the field this season. After cruising to a convincing result in their first preseason warm-up, the AGs have already named their side to play Houston in an ‘unofficial’ Texas Cup warm-up on Thursday evening.
It’s a mix of some expected to be first choice and other less experienced names, but with the entire team making the trip most should see game time at some point. The exhibition contest will be a full 80 minutes with kickoff set for 7pm local time at AVEVA Stadium.

Meanwhile the Seattle Seawolves and San Diego Legion will meet in Las Vegas on Wednesday afternoon. The controlled scrimmage will not be streamed but a summary will be provided following the contest on the Legion’s social media channels.
The Toronto Arrows do not have an opponent lined up before they make the trip south prior to the season opener against ATL. They will instead hold an intra-squad match indoors on Friday. No spectators will be permitted and as with the Vegas session, there will be no video available.
Lastly the game originally scheduled for Saturday will now be played on Friday evening. Old Glory DC travel to Marietta for a feature contest against Rugby ATL. This one will be streamed live on the official MLR Facebook page. Kickoff is set for 7pm Eastern.
