Old Glory re-signs co-captain Mungo Mason

Old Glory DC have announced the re-signing of co-captain Mungo Mason for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. The 25-year-old flanker has most recently been playing in Australia for Warringah Rats in the Shute Shield, scoring four tries in nine games.

Mason arrived from Scotland ahead of the 2020 campaign and started all five games in the No7 shirt for Old Glory. His dynamic play on both sides of the ball played a major role in the expansion side winning four of those games including a shock upset of the defending champion Seattle Seawolves in Week 2.

DC has now confirmed several key returning players including co-captain Thretton Palamo, powerhouse No8 Jamason Fa’anana-Schultz, and star flyhalf Jason Robertson. Among the new additions are front row trio Jamie Dever, James King, and Steven Longwell.
