Will Percillier scores in Top 14 debut for Stade Français

Will Percillier enjoyed a dream debut in the Top 14 for Stade Français on Sunday. The 21-year-old Canadian international was a second-half replacement against Toulouse and scored just moments after coming onto the pitch with his first touch of the ball.

With the Parisians enjoying a big lead over their visitors at Stade Jean Bouin, Percillier replaced France u20 cap Arthur Coville at scrumhalf in the 70th minute. Former Wallabies winger chipped over the defensive line and re-gathered, passing back inside to Percillier in support for a 25-meter run-in.

It’s the third time Percillier has featured in the Stade Francais senior side. His two previous appearances were as a replacement against Zebre and Brive in the European Challenge Cup this past January. He signed a three-year academy deal with the club in April 2019.
