Pablo Lemoine has confirmed Uruguay’s lineup for Saturday’s test match against Georgia in Tbilisi. The two Rugby World Cup 2015 qualifiers will meet in the opening round of the Tbilisi Cup. The World Rugby organized event is to serve as preparation for the World Cup which will take place in September and October in England and Wales.
Although Uruguay is not fielding all of the country’s top players all twenty-three involved are playing for places in the World Cup. Missing are Felipe Berchesi and Rodrigo Capó Ortega who are to join up with the squad upon returning from Georgia. The team is otherwise at full strength and Lemoine has dangled a carrot to certain players by having regular starters such as Mathías Palomeque, Diego Magno and Jerónimo Etcheverry among the replacements.
