Ciaran Hearn commits to 2021 season with Old Glory

Ciaran Hearn will stick with Old Glory DC for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. The Canadian international has committed to the second of his two-year contract announced in December of 2019.

Hearn, 34, joined the club after playing in his third World Cup for Canada. His 73 test caps are third-most all-time for his country behind Aaron Carpenter and Al Charron. The Newfoundland native has also appeared at 36 World Sevens Series events.

Old Glory have now secured all three of their centers from the 2020 season. Hearn started every match at No12 alongside co-captain Thretton Palamo with fellow Canadian Doug Fraser providing second-half cover while starting on the wing.
