USA Falcons Heading to South America

The USA Falcons developmental 7s side has named their roster that is touring South America. The squad is participating in the Seven de Mar del Plata in Argentina and then the Seven de Viña del Mar in Chile. The squad is taking on other developmental sides that the two tournament stops and should gain valuable experience for an ever growing 7s player pool in the USA. As expected with a developmental side, Head Coach Andrew Locke has opted for a young roster. A number of the players in the squad have been to camp with the USA 7s team, but Mike Te’o stands as the only one that has played on the World Series with the Eagles.

In Argentina, the Falcons are pooled with Argentina, Brazil, and Chile. The Falcons then head to Chile the following weekend where they are pooled with a formidable group including Argentina, Canada, and South Africa. Following the tournament in Chile, the team heads back to the Olympic Training Center where the squad prepares for the next leg of the HSBC World Series.
