Full Match – Chile vs Uruguay 2015

Uruguay used the 2015 South American A Championship to prepare for RWC 2014. It was their first RWC tournament appearance since 2003. Chile were looking to cause an upset and they succeed in doing so, winning 30-15 at the Parque Mahuida in Santiago, Chile.

The upset result gave Chile their first win over Los Teros in four years. It was a big deal for Chile who knocked-over a side featuring fourteen men who were involved in Uruguay’s RWC 2015 qualifying win over Russia.

The result also gave Chile a three from three record in the 2015 South American A Championship. Los Cóndores were 32-3 winners over Brazil and 35-25 winners over Paraguay in their earlier two matches.
