Seawolves bring back William Rasileka

The Seattle Seawolves have reached back into their past for another veteran to bolster their ailing backs division. Having plucked Peter Tiberio out of retirement last week, the defending champions have now signed center William Rasileka for the remainder of the 2020 Major League Rugby season.

Rasileka starred for the team during their title-winning campaign in 2018, starting all 10 matches and scoring five tries. The Fiji Sevens international reprised his starting role in the No13 shirt in the first half of 2019 but injury ended his campaign after eight games.

At 35 years old and with Ross Neal signed up to fill the outside center spot, it looked as though Rasileka had played his last game for the Seawolves. Injuries to Neal, Harry Davies, and Jeff Hassler however have left the team short on numbers with Rasileka sounded out to fill in.
