Olimpia Lions confirmed as Paraguay’s team in Súper Liga

Paraguay’s team to compete in the new Súper Liga Americana de Rugby will be the Olimpia Lions. It is to be a rugby team from the soccer club, Olimpia. Confirmation came from Olimpia Club chairman, Marco Trovato.

The Olimpia Lions are to consist of Paraguay’s ten best rugby players with the remaining members of the roster to come from other countries. Head Coach, Raúl Pérez (ex Jaguares) is overseeing the roster formation.
