Major League Rugby confirms five games in Las Vegas

Las Vegas will host five regular season Major League Rugby games over two weekends in February, it was confirmed on Friday. The games will be played at Las Vegas Ballpark, located in Summerlin approximately 10 miles west of ‘the Strip.’ It will be the first time MLR games have been played in Las Vegas.

The first match will take place on Sunday, February 9, with the expansion New England Free Jacks playing their first ever regular season match against Rugby United New York. Both teams will stick around in Vegas until the following weekend.

There will be two games each on February 15 and 16. The Free Jacks will take on the Utah Warriors on the Saturday followed by New York versus the Austin Herd. A second double-header will take place on Sunday starting with the Toronto Arrows and Houston SaberCats, and finishing off with the San Diego Legion and Glendale Raptors.
