Americas Rankings – August 29 2019

In a busy week the Americas Rankings have been updated for a second time. This is due to round two of the Americas Rugby Challenge (ARCh) having been completed and with round three, and other internationals, to follow this coming weekend.

Colombia went 2-0 up in the ARCh on Wednesday. Los Tucanes did so by defeating Mexico 51-24. The updated Americas Rankings see a 0.405 points exchange with Colombia rising to 51.50 points from 51.09 and Mexico falling from 46.79 to 46.38 points.

Paraguay’s 57-7 win over the Cayman Islands sees a massive 1.46 points gain for Paraguay. With it the Cayman Islands fall further in the rankings to 11th, trading places with Trinidad & Tobago. Paraguay move back above Mexico to now have 47.33 points.

The Americas Rankings will be updated again over the weekend. International activity will see Mexico vs Cayman Islands; Colombia vs Paraguay; and Uruguay vs Brazil.
