Canada Unveil World Cup Jerseys

Canada have unveiled their home and away jerseys for Rugby World Cup 2019. The main strip is the traditional red worn by Canada in international competition. It comes with a white v-neck color as well as white markings on the side and at the base of the sleeves. Completing it is a Canadian flag and the country’s name on the left sleeve.

The alternate jersey is black. Changes from the home jersey see an entirely black v-neck color, and the other white sections being red instead.

Canada will compete in Pool B of RWC 2019. They are to be up against Italy, Namibia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Of them the only potential clash of colors would be against New Zealand with the All Blacks wearing black as their home kit.

Remaining competitors who wear predominantly red are to compete in other pools. They include Japan, Russia, Tonga, and Wales.

The kits themselves are designed and manufactured by Canterbury. The UK based sports clothing company In addition to being the it provider for Canada, Canterbury is also for five other competitors at RWC 2019 – England, Georgia, Ireland, Japan, and the USA.
