History took place on Friday evening in Buenos Aires. The Argentine Super Rugby franchise, Los Jaguares, were winners over the Chiefs in what was a Quarter Final. The victory sets up a home Sremi Final next Friday against either the Brumbies, or Sharks.
In rugby the team with the most points at the end of 80 minutes is the winner. Yet the victory was about the commitment and reliability of the defense. Los Jaguares were able to keep the Chiefs scoreless for the final 30 minutes of the match.
The match had three tries with the home side scoring two of them. Both Jaguares’ tries were team efforts, a theme very true of the match result overall.
