History was made on Sunday when RWC 2019 participants Russia pulled off a shock upset over the Argentina XV in Montevideo, Uruguay. The fixture was a Nations Cup match between the national test side of Russia and the next of XV from Argentina.
The Russian Bears produced a magnificent opening half performance to stun the South Americans. While there were some contentious decisions which went against the Argentina XV the real talking point from the match was that Russia played much better, and caught the fancied Argentina XV unprepared.
