Los Pumas Sevens Head Coach Santiago Gómez Cora has named a 12-man roster for the first two rounds of the 2015-2016 World Rugby Sevens circuit. The South Americans will depart to compete at the Dubai (December 4-5) and Cape Town (December 12-13) legs of the competition.
Included are five debutants: Renzo Barbier, Joaquín Riera, Santiago Resino, Sebastián Cancelliere and Bautista Ezcurra, who was a part of the roster which won Silver at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto.
For many it is a prime opportunity to push for selection for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. They are to be in competition with players contracted to the UAR with World Cup roster members Santiago Cordero, Matías Moroni and Javier Ortega Desio being prime contenders to compete in Brazil.
