Sánchez guides Stade Français to away win over La Rochelle

Argentine play maker Nicolás Sánchez was in fine form on Saturday as he guided Stade Français to an away win over La Rochelle. The Parisians were 27-14 winners with Sánchez scoring 12 points for the visiting side.

The victory sees Stade Français holding on to 6th place in the Top 14. The club has 46 competition points and is just one win bending the third placed Lyon. With plenty of rounds left to play the Parisians are very much eyeing a return to the play-off’s this season.

Sánchez arrived at the club in December from Argentina. He departed Los Jaguares to return to France where he had previously played for Bordeaux, and Toulon from 2011-2015. His three years at Los Jaguares saw him being the starting fly half and this was carried over into the test arena.
