Match Highlights – Canada vs Germany

Canada are closing in on claiming the 20th, and final, spot at RWC 2019. Today’s 29-10 victory over Germany saw the North Americans pushed but ultimately getting the job done.

There were some notable performances from Canada with highlights including four tries to one and Ray Barkwill living up to his reputation as being rugby’s Benjamin Button.

With the win Canada are now 80 minutes away from being the Repechage Winner. Standing int he way is Hong Kong, Canada’s opponent on Friday. The Asians also won today, defeating Kenya. But having lost against Germany first up Canada is in the drivers seat. Canada were not as sharp today as against Kenya though took the maximum points.
