Gatos are Champions of Colombia

For the second year running Gatos are the national champions of Colombia. The green-and-blacks won the Nacional de Clubes Super 20 Grand Final, downing Duendes 23-10 in Castilla (Medellín) on Saturday.

Gatos were in control throughout the contest. They took a 12-5 lead into half time and would also concede just five points in the second half. With it the club was crowed 2018 champions by a winning scoreline of 13 points.

Involved in the final were a number of Colombia’s finest players. Captaining Gatos was Los Tucanes inside back José Manuel Diosa while national captain, Sebastián Mejía was a leader of Duendes.
