The defending Major League Rugby champions are not resting on their laurels. Having already named a new head coach in Anton Moolman, the Seattle Seawolves have confirmed two preseason fixtures.
First up on Saturday, December 22, will be a match against the Crimson Tide, a select side made up of the representatives from the clubs on Vancouver Island. The match will take place at Westhills Stadium, the training ground of Rugby Canada, with kickoff set for 4pm local. Tickets are now available online.
The Seawolves will then head south to Treasure Island where they will face San Francisco Golden Gate at Ray Sheeran Field on Saturday, January 5. Further details are still to be confirmed.
Seattle did not play any official preseason games ahead of their 2018 season. A planned match against the Crimson Tide was called off due to visa issues, with the team opting only for a closed scrimmage against the Prairie Wolf Pack before starting their regular season campaign.
