Reserve Pumas team to face Namibia

Martín Landajo will captain a makeshift Argentina side against Namibia on Sunday. Having already qualified for the quarter-finals, head coach Daniel Hourcade has opted to rest a number of his front line players and give opportunities to others.

Guido Petti is the only surviving member of the tight five left in the side, with Matias Alemanno beside him and a new front row in Lucas Noguera Paz, Julián Montoya, and Juan Pablo Orlandi. Javier Ortega Desio replaces Juan Fernández Lobbe on the flank and Facundo Isa starts at the back of the scrum with Leonardo Senatore on the bench.

The backs have an interesting look with Juan Martín Hernández, Juan Pablo Socino, and Santiago González Iglesias all similarly varsatile players with solid kicking games. Matías Moroni has moved out to the wing to accomodate, with Horacio Agulla on the other and Lucas González Amorosino at fullback.

Argentina have soundly beaten Namibia on both previous meetings, the last a 63-3 drubbing in Marseille during the 2007 World Cup. The Pumas will face the winners of the Pool D deciding France-Ireland match in the first stage of the knock-out rounds.
