Rugby Championship – South Africa vs Australia Highlights

Following on from winning in New Zealand, South Africa claimed back-to-back wins in the Rugby Championship today, defeating Australia in Port Elizabeth. The 23-12 victory consolidates South Africa in second position while Australia are bottom behind Argentina.

Los Pumas are to face New Zealand this evening in Buenos Aires. A win from the home side is required to prevent the All Blacks from claiming the Rugby Championship title today. The competition will conclude next weekend with Argentina at home to Australia and South Africa facing New Zealand.

In Port Elizabeth today both the Springboks and Wallabies ran-in two tries. The difference was goal-kicking with South Africa landing five goals, four more than Australia.
