New Zealand continued their winning ways in the Rugby Championship, downing Argentina this morning. Despite the full-time scoreline seeing the All Blacks winning cleanly the match was hotly contested with tries in the final minutes impacting the outcome.
The All Blacks went into the match as heavy favorites and achieved a bonus point victory. With it New Zealand are well in front of the three other countries in the Rugby Championship. New Zealand have 15 competition points, South Africa have 6 while both Argentina and Australia have 4.
The Rugby Championship will continue next weekend. Los Pumas travel to Australia to face the Wallabies on the Gold Coast while New Zealand are at home against South Africa in Wellington.
Australia narrowly defeated South Africa in this morning’s other Rugby Championship match. With Argentina pushing the All Blacks in Nelson the round 4 fixture looms as being competitive.
