Los Jaguares’ Super Rugby 2019 season has been confirmed. With it being a RWC year the season is different due to their being no break for the June Internationals.
Changes from 2016-2018 see Los Jaguares finally beginning their campaign at home. Los Jaguares will open the 2019 Super Rugby season on February 16 against the Lions. One week later they will host the Bulls. They will also play the Blues before playing away for the first time.
The competition itself will get underway with a New Zealand derby as the Chiefs take-on the Highlanders. Both teams are to be opponents for Los Jaguares in 2019.
All teams in 2019 Super Rugby are to play 16 matches in the regular season. These include eight conference matches, with Los Jaguares playing in the South African conference.
