Figallo, Wyles Score as Saracens Reach Premiership Final

Juan Figallo and Chris Wyles both scored tries on Saturday. They did so for Saracens in their home Semi Final against the Wasps. The victory ensured that the London-based club has reached the Premiership Final which will be played this coming Saturday art Twickenham Stadium.

The victory sees Saracens into their fourth final in five years, underlining the club as one of the finest in Europe despite not having a strong Champions Cup campaign this season.

The 57-33 win over the Wasps was also record-breaking in that Owen Farrell landed 27 points and Chris Wyles scored a fifth try in an English Semi Final in eight years. The team itself scored 11 tries, also a record.

In addition to Figallo and Wyles the Semi Final also involved Marcelo Bosch. All three are on target to appear in another English Premiership Final. The trio are all prior English Premiership and European Champions Cup winners with Saracens.

The Semi Final win sees Saracens advancing to face last season’s winners, the Exeter Chiefs in the Final. It is the second time in three years in which the clubs are to contest the final. Saracens won in 2016 with the Chiefs surprising everybody in 2017 by defeating the Wasps.

The Exeter Chiefs booked their spot in the final by outclassing the Newcastle Falcons 36-5. This saw Juan Pablo Socino play for the Falcons for the final time before moving to Scotland.
