Los Pumas 7’s Make Wholesale Changes for Singapore

Wholesale changes have been made by Los Pumas 7’s for the upcoming Singapore 7’s. The Singapore 7’s will be played on April 28-29 in what is to be the eighth leg of the 2017-2018 HSBC World Sevens Series.

Head Coach Santiago Gómez Cora’s list contains six changes from the roster which competed at the recent Hong Kong 7’s tournament. Included for Singapore are Severiano Escocobio, Máximo Provenzano, Tomas Passaro, Maximiliano Filizzola, Nicolás Menéndez, and Matías Feyre.

Both Menéndez and Freyre will be making their retruns for Los Pumas 7’s in the HSBC Sevens Series following long lay-off’s through injury. One of Hindú club’s leading prospects, Severiano Escocobio returns after previously having played under Gómez Cora.

In Singapore Los Pumas 7s will complete in Pool C. They are pooled with Canada, Samoa and South Africa. Their opening match will be against the Canadians.
