In Wales the Cardiff Blues host Italian side Benetton Treviso. The home side are to be without Blaine Scully this weekend. The Italians have named Argentine hooker Tomás Baravalle on their bench. Earlier this week he signed a new contract to remain in Italy until 2020.
The remaining fixture is Edinburgh vs Munster. The Scottish side has recently acquired the services of Juan Pablo Socino on a two-year deal. The RWC 2015 Puma will move north to the Scottish capital from the Newcastle Falcons at the completion of the 2017-2018 Aviva Premiership season.
The Guinness Pro 14 Championship will return to normal on March 22. That weekend will see a full round of competition in the Celtic-Italian-South African League. It is to be the first weekend of club rugby following the completion of the 2018 Six Nations Championship.
