International players from the Americas will feature in four of the six Greene King IPA Championship matches this weekend. A few players remain on Americas Rugby Championship duty but a couple have returned to help out their employers.
Friday will see four Americas players run out for the Cornish Pirates against Nottingham at Lady Bay. Brett Beukeboom makes his 50th appearance for the Pirates on his return from Canada duty with countryman Matt Evans continuing his comeback from long-term injury on the right wing. Nicolás de Battista captains the side at his usual inside centre spot and Nicolás Coronel is named on the left wing. The match can be watched live on the England Facebook page starting at 2:30pm Eastern.
On Saturday Bedford Blues travel to Clifton Lane to play lowly Rotherham Titans. Back from his two-match stint with the Eagles is flyhalf Will Hooley, a welcome sight for the Blues who are struggling with injuries at the key position. Canadian flanker Justin Blanchet will take up a bench role this week.
Gastón Cortes assumes his tighthead prop role once again for unbeaten Bristol as they face London Scottish. Lastly veteran midfielder Ronnie McLean, a one-time Eagles cap, will start for Richmond against Yorkshire Carnegie at Headingley.
