Urdapilleta and Castres Humiliate Leicester Tigers

Benjamín Urdapilleta scored 17 points for Castres who humiliated the Leicester Tigers on Sunday. The Top 14 side completed a 39-0 win over the Aviva Premiership side to keep their path to the play-off’s alive.

The former Puma had an impressive match. He scored a try, kicked three conversions and two penalties in what was a 17-point haul. He has 10 caps for Argentina and is among the country’s leading players in the position today.

The Leicester Tigers are two-time European Champions Cup winners. The East Midlands club won the Heineken Cup in 2001 and 2002. The club was also defeated finalists in 1997, 2007 and 2009. In the Aviva Premiership the Tigers played in all finals from 2006-2013. Their poor season has them sitting in 8th position. Castres are 4th in the Top 14.
