Argentina experiment for Viña del Mar

Having already qualified for the Rugby World Cup Sevens in San Francisco, Argentina will cast their net further for the second leg of the Sudamérica Sevens series. The young, experimental side selected for the first leg in Punta del Este will see three changes for in Viña del Mar.

Going in their place will be Los Matreros loose forward Marcos Amorisa, Pumitas fullback Juan Pablo Castro, and Agustín Segura, another outside back originally from Catamarca who now plays for Jockey Córdoba.

Viña del Mar begins on January 13, one week after Punta del Este. The team will be coached by former Pumas winger Lucas Borges, a member of the 2007 World Cup team.
