Despite virtually all the attention this weekend going to the November Internationals there is to be a full round of the Anglo-Welsh Cup. Taking to the field are England teams from the Aviva Premiership and Welsh regions from the Guinness Pro 14.
Friday’s matches will see two US Eagles taking the field. Tighthead prop Chris Baumann makes his run-on debut for Leicester Tigers when they travel to Bath. AJ MacGinty continues his role in the No 10 shirt for Sale against Saracens.
On Saturday the Newcastle Falcons face the Cardiff Blues in England’s far north. Former Pumas winger Belisario Agulla will feature on the bench as will former Pumas center Juan Pablo Socino.
Socino was a Puma in 2015 while Agulla earned the last of his 11 caps in 2013. In 2016 there was a call-up for Juan Pablo Estelles. The Olympian starts for Northampton on Saturday. They play at home against the Dragons. Estelles scored two tries last weekend in the Anglo-Welsh Cup.
On Sunday two more Eagles will be in action for Worcester. Andrew Durutalo starts on the openside flank and hooker Joe Taufete’e has been named on the bench for the away match against Harlequins at The Stoop.
