Chilean Simón Pardakhty signs for French Club

Chilean international forward Simón Pardakhty has signed to play in France for Stade Rodez, a third division side. In doing so he makes the move from the Prince of Wales Country Club (PWCC) in Santiago.

Also competing in the Fédérale is Chilean prop Ramón Ayarza who recently moved to play for ROC La Voulte, Valence and Leonardo Montoya, a respected Rugby Sevens player. Additional Chileans in France include Pablo Huete and Francisco de la Fuente who play in the Pro d2.

Pardakhty has to date earned four test caps. He made his debut against Brazil in 2013 in a Rugby World Cup Qualifying match in Temuco. His three remaining caps were also earned in 2013 with his one start being in the back-row against heavyweights Argentina.
