The Americas Rankings have been updated following the completion of international competition this weekend. The October 15 2017 rankings see changes for Venezuela and Peru.
As a result of Saturday’s win in Lima, Venezuela have risen and Peru fallen in the Americas Rankings. The 33-21 away win means Venezuela is up from 41.14 to 41.98 points. It is insufficient for any positional changes though it does widen the gap between Venezuela and Jamaica.
Peru’s updated rankings see Los Tumis falling from 36.54 to 35.70 points. With it the Peruvians are ranked between the Caribbean nations of the Bahamas and Barbados.
Also involved in international competition this weekend were teams in the Americas Pacific Challenge. With the competition not involving the test sides of there competitors no rankings points are up for grabs.
The Americas Rankings will be updated again next Sunday. Rankings points will be on the line in Colombia’s home match against Venezuela.
