Germany line up Brazil, USA, and Chile

For the second year in a row Germany will play Americas opposition in all three of their November test matches. Having already committed to Brazil and the USA, the German Rugby Union (DRV) has now confirmed a match against Chile on November 25th. Originally announced as South Korea, the Asia Rugby representatives have now withdrawn from the fixture, opening the door for Los Cóndores.

Germany played Uruguay and two tests against Brazil during their November 2016 window, winning all three matches. The first was a 24-21 upset over Los Teros in Frankfurt followed by 16-6 and 36-14 victories over Os Tupis in Heidelberg and Leipzig respectively.

Brazil have never defeated Germany in four attempts, while this will be the first official test match against both the USA and Chile. Germany are currently at 23 on the World Rugby Rankings, with the USA the highest of their opponents at 17, Chile next at 28, and Brazil just below at 29.
