Australia played host to Argentina earlier today. The fixture was the first of two between the countries in 2017. It was a fourth round Rugby Championship match and saw both teams chasing their first win of the competition.
The teams are to meet again on October 07. The match will be a final round fixture in the Rugby Championship. It is to be the third time that Argentina has played against Australia in Mendoza in the Rugby Championship. The teams have split the previous matches, winning once each.
Before they face-off at the foot of the Andes both will play other matches. On September 30 Argentina face New Zealand in Buenos Aires while Australia play away to South Africa in Bloemfontein.
