The teams are set for a curtain-raiser at Talen Energy Stadium with the USA Collegiate All-Americans hosting Oxford University. Both sides have selected strong teams with former Junior All-American Conor Kearns leading out the visitors.
Alongside Kearns in the Oxford side is newly arrived Canadian wing Dan Moor who makes his Oxford debut. England 7s representative Sam Edgerley is at scrumhalf with former Saracens and England u20 flanker Andy Saull in the back row. Tongan second row Lisiate Fifita, previously of Shute Shield club Randwick, provides power to the engine room.
Headlining the All-Americans are two players with senior test caps in hooker Peter Malcolm and lock Matt Jensen. Former San Francisco Rush standout Jérémy Lenaerts, a Belgian age-grade rep, contributes to an impressive tight five unit. USA Select XV scrumhalf Nick Boyer will distribute to a backline that includes Junior All-American standouts in Duncan van Schalwyk, Cristian Rodriguez, and Mitch Wilson.
The match kicks off at 2:15pm ET and will be streamed live by The Rugby Channel.
