Chile’s Under 19 team was too strong for Paraguay in the second round fixture of the South American Championship, winning 30-6. Played at the national Paraguay rugby stadium, the Estadio Héroes de Curupayty Los Cóndores were in control throughout.
Martín Raddatz impressed with two tries while both Agustín Planella and Adolfo Gana also crossed. Fullback Christian Huerta landed two conversions and a drop-goal. Los Yakarés points’ came from the boot of outside center and captain Alexander Cáceres.
