Cubelli on Bench for Super Rugby Quarter Final

Tomás Cubelli has been named on the bench for the Brumbies’ home Super Rugby Quarter Final. The Canberra-based outfit will take-on the Hurricanes on Friday evening.

The winner of the Brumbies vs Hurricanes will face either the Lions or the Sharks in the Semi Finals. With the Brumbies being the only Australian side in the play-off’s a win is required for an Australian side to have the opportunity if winning the 2017 title.

The Argentine scrum-half returned from injury to play in the final two rounds of the regular season. This included starting on Saturday against the Chiefs in Hamilton, New Zealand.

The 28-year-old player is playing his second season of Super Rugby in Australia. He is the one non-Jaguar set to feature under Daniel Hourcade in the Rugby Championship.
